"Mindhunter" Star Holt McCallaney to Join Danny Boon in Jalil Lespert's "Le Dindon"

Get acquainted with detective hit Mindhunter star Holt McCallany, because we'll be seeing a lot more of him. This time, he'll be speaking some Français.

According to Deadline, director Jalil Lespert, acclaimed for such well known pieces as Iris, and Yves Saint Laurent, has signed on to adapt the cult favorite turn of the century play, Le Dindon, for the big screen. The play was written in 1896 by Georges Feydeau, but Lespert's version will take place in the 1960s. Filming began late last month and includes a cast of the ever popular Danny Boon, Alice Pol and Guillaume Gallienn.

Apparently, McCallany studied theater in Paris in the 1980s and has a hidden talent for the language of love, making him perfect for the character of Wayne, the American whose wife has an affair with Danny Boon's character. After getting our fill of watching McCallany's prickly and jaded Bill Tench character lecture his FBI partner throughout one of Netflix's most talked about dramas, Mindhunter, we can check out his comedy chops in his next adventure!
