France's Biggest Film Director Accused of Sexual Assault. Again.
Sadly, Hollywood is not the only breeding ground for men in power being connected to sexual assault allegations.
Paris authorities are investigating two accusations against Valerian and The Fifth Element director, Luc Besson, citing rape and sexual misconduct. The claims come from two different women; a casting director, and an employee of his production company, Europacorp. Like movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, the long respected French director denies any incidences of sexual harassment or misconduct, with his lawyer professing them as “fantasist accusations”.
In contrast, one alleged victim claims one encounter with Besson left her escaping on her hands and knees, according to The Telegraph.
